The SEA EXPLORERS PADI Career Development Center (CDC) is located inside the Pura Vida Beach and Dive Resort and is the main Dive Center. We offer a very well equipped facility with our own office, small retail shop, air-conditioned classroom and three storerooms for our guest's equipment directly on the beach.
Four times a year Chris Heim organizes Instructor Development Courses in the resort.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• Diving all around the year possible
• Water temperature: approx. 26-29 º C; our suggestion: 3-5mm wetsuit.
• Most of the dive sites close by, max. 30-40 minutes boatride
• Four to five dives per day can be offered
• Maximum depth 40 meters
• No time limits except drift and transfer dives
• Usually no decompression dives
• Excellent area for courses and all level of divers
• A wide variety of excellent & exciting divesites
• World-class macro and night dives, paradise for underwater photographers
• Excellent snorkeling area around Apo Island , Masaplod Norte Sanctuary and Dauin
• 12 and 10 liters aluminum and some 15 liters tanks .
• Most of our tanks have valves with INT connection. Divers with DIN first stage, bring your adapter please.

• Recompression chamber in Cebu City

INFORMATION ABOUT SANCTUARY FEES:

We are very lucky to be able to dive in several sanctuaries in our area. For us divers it means that we have to be more careful and that we have to follow some rules and we have to pay some additional fees (3-10 US $ per day).

Around Apo Island for example it's not allowed to wear gloves. In the Sanctuary there are not more than 15 divers per day allowed, that means, it's not always possible to dive this spot.

There is an additional charge of about 1 US$ / day around Apo Island and 1 US$ / dive in the municipality of Dauin (incl. Masaplod Norte Sanctuary) for photo and video camera.

The sanctuary fees are not included in the diving rates and packages.
