DUMAGUETE DIVE SITES

PURA VIDA HOUSE REEF (HIDDEN PARADISE ):

It's right in front of Pura Vida Beach & Dive Resort. Sandy slope from two down to thirty meters. Steel wreck and other artificial reefs are the main attractions of this spot. Large variety of rare species. The ideal place for training, excellent fun- and night dives and macro photography.

LIPAYO SANCTUARY:

Just a few meters north of Pura Vida Beach & Dive Resort. It slopes down from one to twenty meters. Sandy bottom with different coral blocks, sponges and sea anemones. Large variety of rare species. Excellent place for fun dives and macro photography.

SARAH'S PLACE:

Just five minutes by boat. Nice coral reef and big artific i al reef with different kinds of colorful nudibranchs and coral fish, scorpion fish, stingrays etc. Special place for late afternoon dives with mandarin fish.

DAUIN BEACH :

Just around the corner we can find the spot for something special (muck diving). Seahorses, ghost pipe fish, frog fish, different kind of lion and scorpion fish and nudibranchs are very common.

DAUIN SANCTUARIES A+B:

In the south of Dauin Beach we find the newest sanctuaries in our area. Slope with beautiful coral formations and big table corals in the shallow water. Different kinds of fish schools, barracudas, big sweetlips, groupers and batfish. If you're lucky you will see ribbon eels or turtles.

MASAPLOD NORTE:

Is a very beautiful marine sanctuary, which can be reached by our speedboat in only ten minutes. Big fish schools, big snappers and sweetlips, groupers, stingrays, different kinds of scorpion fish and very often turtles.

APO ISLAND :

We can reach this highlight of the Visayas in about half an hour by boat. The marine sanctuary with the famous Clownfish-City and the jack-school. Spectacular and colorful drift dives with big fish schools, sometimes sharks, manta rays and barracudas. Beautiful coral gardens with a large variety of coral fish. We are sure that one of the ten first class dive spots will soon become your favorite.

SUMILON ISLAND :

Slopes down to 35 m. Drift-diving sometimes with sharks, jack-school, different corals and sponges. During full and new moon very strong current. Wall-diving with small caves, black corals, gorgonias and a beautiful coral garden.

CEBU SOUTH:

Very interesting drift diving. Many different kind of nudibranchs, sometimes giant frog fishes, if you're lucky manta rays.
